Theresa Huerbin is passionate about teaching children to read and to find the joy in reading and learning about history. She believes reading is essential for learning throughout life. With over 30 years as a Pennsylvania Educator in the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Huerbin has witnessed her students grow spiritually as well as academically.

She received her undergraduate in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh and a Reading Specialist Master’s Degree from Duquesne University, Mrs. Huerbin is also a Google Level 1 Certified Educator. She likes to hike and spend time outdoors camping, gardening, and reading. She also likes to play games and treasures her memories of Family Game Night with her husband and their two sons.
