Jennifer Phillips’ expertise in Spanish is a combination of her undergraduate degrees in Spanish and International Relations from Kent State University, during which she spent a year of study in Spain, and her continued practice by teaching Spanish in high school and at the college level. Señora Phillips makes learning Spanish “¡ser pan comido!” (a piece of cake)! All of her students, from kindergarten to the teenagers in eighth grade, love to learn from the various media and music that she incorporates into her lessons. Señora Phillips also bases her approach on the values that she credits for forming her role as a teacher: family, accountability, respect. and service.
Outside of school, Señora Phillips keeps very active with her three children and many hobbies, including exercise, golf, and cooking.
