Lourdes Morrison is a highly educated speech therapist and school psychologist who has worked for the AIU for the last 23 years in both of those roles. Ms. Lory attended Catholic grade school and high school in the Pittsburgh area and was the valedictorian of Saint Francis Academy High School (now closed). She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Washington and Jefferson College and two masters’ degrees; a Masters and Certification in Communication Disorders and a Masters and Certification in School Psychology, both from California University of Pennsylvania. She is also an ASCP certified Medical Technologist, a PA licensed and ASHA certified speech language pathologist, a PA certified school psychologist, and holds a Pennsylvania teaching certification to teach Pre-K through 4th grade.
While Ms. Lory has been unable to successfully use her speech therapy skills on her two Weimaraners, Dinky Doo and Mia (Mia is pictured), she enjoys taking them to a variety of dog training classes to learn canine skills.
