Pat Hirsh, a staff member of AIU Non-Public Schools program, has been at Seelos Academy since she came to Saint Alphonsus in 2011. She feels lucky to be working at Seelos Academy and being able to work with all groups of students. Mrs. Hirsh us a member of the International Dyslexia Association and Saint Matthew Parish/St. Bonaventure Church Liturgical Planning Committee.
Along with her dog, Claire, Mrs. Hirsh is a member of Therapy Dogs International Tail Waggin' Tutors Program at the Shaler Library. She received her Masters in reading and language arts from Duquesne University as well as her undergraduate degree in elementary education and special education. Mrs. Hirsh met her husband while they were college students riding a bus downtown. As true Pittsburghers do, they met under the Kaufman's Clock for lunch.
