David Blozowich knows that students learn science by doing science and incorporates engaging experiments into his classroom lessons. After 22 years in public education as an Assistant Principal, Principal, and Superintendent of Schools, Dr. B. returned to his roots as a Middle School Science Teacher and found his home at Seelos Academy in 2015.
He is the recipient of the Muriel Green Science Award for Middle School Science Teachers and the Excellence in Science Teaching from the American Chemical Society. He earned undergraduate and master’s degrees from Clarion University, a Doctoral Degree in Educational Learning from Immaculata University, an Elementary and Secondary Principal Certification, and a Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility, both from Penn State University. Dr. B also teaches graduate courses at Gannon University as an adjunct professor. Not only does he love everything science, especially anything pertaining to space, but is an avid James Bond fan, Three Stooges memorabilia collector, and his students will tell you that he also loves Doritos!
