Blessed Francis Seelos Academy was established in 2017 through a merger of Saint Alexis Parish School and Saint Alphonsus Parish School. Both schools were staples in the Wexford community, and their combined traditions of over 175 years of excellence in Catholic education provided the foundation for our premier Catholic Academy. The new school became the first elementary school in the United States named after Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos. Located on two campuses in Wexford, Pennsylvania, Blessed Francis Seelos Academy integrates Catholic teachings
with the culture, key values, and traditions of family and community.
Blessed Francis Seelos Academy is a Pittsburgh Diocesan Catholic School and part of the North Hills Regional Catholic Elementary Schools (NHRCES).
